The FOP is a political party dedicated to Progressive and Inclusive Capitalism, committed to promoting economic growth via free enterprise while securing social equity and individual liberty, and practicing "Capitalism with a Human Face".

Our Agenda for Kenya

The FOP's agenda is centered on economic transformation via progressive and inclusive capitalism to drive shared prosperity and empower all Kenyans. The party aims to dismantle barriers to economic participation, enable free enterprise, promote AI integrated innovation and create job creation while ensuring social welfare for all. In actualising our agenda, we prioritise better governance, meritocracy, democracy, modern education and zero tolerance to corruption.

The FOP aims to involve financial institutions in investing in industrialization and infrastructure, establish a public sovereign wealth fund, work towards a state or public banking sector, and empower county economic blocks to establish their own financial institutions.

We promote healthy lifestyles and preventive care, implement the National Health Insurance (NHI), strengthen health infrastructure, and expand the Ideal Clinic programme.

The FOP will implement the National Strategic Plan on gender-based violence and femicide, expand victim support services, and undertake public campaigns against toxic masculinity and sexism.

Our party remains steadfast in its commitment to the African Union (AU) and Agenda 2063 while focusing on strengthening diplomatic efforts and conflict resolution, promoting the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and fostering Pan-African Solidarity.

Yes, the FOP seeks to work with labour, civil society, and businesses on social and economic initiatives. The party also aims to forge strategic partnerships with the private sector to drive job creation and safeguard existing employment.

Partnership and Collaboration

The FOP plans to cultivate partnerships to expand domestic industries including mining, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and the digital economy. They also support public-private partnerships for infrastructure rollout.

We embrace strategic alliances with nations and institutions that share our vision of a peaceful and equitable world. These include partnerships in trade, education, innovation, and security. Kenya, under the FOP, will also collaborate with other countries on research and development in emerging fields.

Kenyans are our biggest partners, Office of the Registrar of Political Parties(ORPP), Independent Boundaries and Electoral Commission (IEBC), National Assembly among others.

The FOP highlights the critical role of all of Kenyans in preventing crime and gender-based violence through adequate resourcing of Community Policing Forums. Our party also plans to support community involvement and whistleblower protection as part of their fight against corruption.

Membership Requirements

According to the FOP Constitution, any Kenyan citizen who is at least eighteen (18) years old and is committed to the Party's ideologies, policies, programmes, and objectives is eligible for membership.

Yes, you cannot be a member if you are a member of another political party, if you have been certified as insane or declared bankrupt, if you have been convicted of an election offense, or if you are serving a sentence of imprisonment for six months or more.

Application for membership is done by filling out the official FOP membership application form which are available from the party headquarters or its constituency, and ward offices or via the party's digital platform. One will be required to pay the prescribed membership fee.

The National Executive Council (NEC) or an authorized Party Organ considers the application, and if approved, applicant's name is entered into the Party's register. You will then be issued with a membership card.

Members have the right to participate in Party activities, vote in internal elections, receive information about Party activities, and stand for election for Party positions or public office, among others. Duties include upholding the Party Constitution, following Party policies, promoting the Party's image and paying membership fees and levies.
