The FOP recognises that the recent uprising by Gen Z and millennials in Kenya is driven by a deep yearning for the legitimate enjoyment of civil liberties, freedoms and the exercise of their inalienable rights. The party's constitution is founded on a commitment to creating a modern, just, united and prosperous Kenya and it resolves to form a political party that is all-inclusive, democratic, transparent, and accountable to actualize the hopes and aspirations of the people. The FOP is driven by the desire to promote, protect, and implement the Constitution of the Republic of Kenya and to uphold the rule of law at all times.
In order to ensure genuine democracy, the FOP has pledged to be a truly democratic institution of governance. The party's Nomination and Election Rules promote inter-party relations by ensuring free competition of different political views and principles. The party also commits to promoting trust and confidence via mechanisms for cooperation and managing political differences through constructive dialogue, all with the goal of enhancing harmony among parties.
